About Us

With roots centered in classical ballet and Highland dance, we seek to bring a fun new fusion of different dance styles—a classical core with a twist. We wish to inspire hard work, dedication, and a love for movement and learning, while also keeping the fun in fundamentals. We believe our bodies are an amazing gift to be celebrated, moving with purpose and grace.

Leann Clarke

Highland Dance Instructor,
Stevensville

Leann grew up in Montana and began Highland dance lessons after her dad shared his love for their family's Scottish heritage and took her to a local Highland Games event. She performed her first Highland Fling at the age of 14 and has been performing and competing in Highland Dance ever since. Upon graduating from the University of Montana with her B.A. in music performance, she began teaching music and Highland dance. She is passionate about keeping Scottish dance traditions alive and is blessed to have two kids that enjoy dancing as much as she does.

Mary Gunter

Ballet/Tap/Jazz Instructor, Stevensville

Mary was born in Colorado and moved to Montana when she was 9. She played clarinet, took private voice lessons, and participated in numerous plays, including Guys and Dolls. Mary danced throughout junior high and high school almost every day of the week, taking jazz, tap, and ballet. She also had the opportunity to dance in the Nutcracker with Queen City Ballet, traveling weekends to Helena to practice. Now married with four kids, she is ecstatic to be teaching dance and returning to a community she so greatly missed. She is extremely grateful to her friends and family for helping out in every way possible so she can pursue this dream.

Nicole LaBrosse

Ballet/Jazz/Hip-Hop Instructor, Hamilton

Nicole was born in Idaho and moved to Montana at the age of three. It was here that she took her first ballet class and immediately fell in love with dance. She and her family later moved back to Idaho, where she continued her training in ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop before eventually moving back to Montana for good. Nicole has participated in several dance competitions and performed in multiple productions of The Nutcracker. Along with spending almost every day in the dance studio during her younger years, she also took piano lessons.

Now married and a mother, Nicole is thrilled to be back in the dance world and excited to share her passion for dance with others.
