Women's Basic Pistol

Begin your journey by discovering your "Why" when it comes to personal defense and firearms training.  This is the reason and commitment that will keep you motivated to continue learning and improving!

In this course, you will lay the foundation for handgun basics through topics like "The 4 Universal Safety Rules," understanding firearms, clearing semi-automatic handguns, stand and grip, trigger control, and a multitude of other skills that are necessary for the proper and safe operation of a handgun.

With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.

Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:

- Situational Awareness

- Common types of handguns

- Ammunition types and malfunctions

- Firearms handling skills

- Defensive pistol fundamentals

- The use of deadly force

Whether you've never touched a firearm, you're looking for the next steps in your training, or you've chosen to learn about the skills, tools and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.

This is a WOMEN-ONLy class, led by a female instructor, that will introduce you to the basics of being a responsibly armed female.

This class is 3.5 hours of classroom time being held at Bug Out Montana Survival Center.  Cost is $75 per person and is for ages 16 and up.  Pre-registration is required.
